B.A.P has definitely lived up to their ‘rookie of the year’ awards as they displayed their popularity by selling out their first solo concert ‘B.A.P Live On Earth Seoul‘ within ten minutes!

TS Entertainment revealed that ticket reservations for the concert through YES24 opened on the 23rd and sold out its 8,000 available tickets within ten minutes.

130122 EXO incident with Scary Sasaeng Fans

On January 18th, the group was at the airport to visit the Philippines but they were delayed due to visa issues with EXO-M. This caused a greater sasaeng turnout than usual.

Kai was standing near the stairs when a sasaeng fan grabbed him, causing him to fall down and injure his chin and knee. Other sasaengs reported seeing sasaengs near him touch him in inappropriate places. He was unable to get up on his own, leading Baekhyun to try and lift him up.

A sasaeng was overheard saying, "I need to take his picture, move your head", among other swears to Baekhyun.

Tao apparently wrote on his Weibo in broken Korean asking fans to please stop because he doesn't want his members getting hurt anymore.

Before, Jongin had suffered an incident where he was holding a stuffed animal a fan had given him. He couldn't pass through security so they searched him and found a hidden camera in the teddy bear's eye that had been on and filming the entire time.

I found another blog post that had a compilation of sasaeng acts against EXO. I don't know if any of these are confirmed or not.

1. A sasaeng fan bought the same van as EXO and used it to wait outside EXO's schedules. Luhan actually tried to get on it once but his manager freaked out and pulled him out.

2. Kyungsoo once had a bruise on his eye because a 'daepo sasaeng' (daepo = DSLR camera) hit him in the eye.

3. Tao was at a foreign hotel for a schedule and sasaengs had installed a recording device in the bathroom that recorded noise of him showering and humming a song.

4. Kai's teddy bear incident. [Netizen comment: [+26, -0] EXO Kai also received a stuffed animal as a gift from a fan while at the airport. The doll couldn't get past security so they searched it and found a hidden camera in its eye.]

5. Lay went back to his waiting room to find all their bags opened and their contents strewn around

6. A sasaeng fan stuffed something into a member's bag and ran away and it ended up being her underwear.

7. Sehun and Luhan were sexually harrassed by them.

8. Sasaeng fans were on their knees crawling around outside EXO's dorm so when people asked what they were doing, they said they were trying to find EXO's stray hairs.

[According to the netizenbuzz, several fans have pointed out that the teddy bear rumor was confirmed to be false]

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They’re Pretty Much The Same)

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...)

In 2008, Facebook was banned in China. Almost exactly a year later, Twitter was banned as well. With the removal of the two biggest social networking companies from China, many imitators tried to fill the void. No single one social network was able to completely fill the void left behind by the forced departure of Facebook and Twitter. That is, until the sudden and expected meteoric rise of "China's Twitter", Sina Weibo.
"Weibo" in Chinese stands for micro-blog. But because of the success of Sina's Weibo, the term is now used primarily to identify with Sina Weibo. According to Sina, Weibo has a registered total user base of 358 million, of which roughly 36.5 million active users daily. Twitter, on the other hand, has about 100 million active monthly users and a total user base of about 500 million. Keep in mind that Twitter is available worldwide whereas Weibo still doesn't have a full English interface.
But enough with the numbers—numbers drive me crazy—as I am after all a writer and not a mathematician. So lets get to the nitty-gritty of this post; What exactly makes Weibo so great that some have even come out and said that it's better than Twitter even though the two are virtually the same?
According to longtime Beijing expat and Tech industry extraordinaire Frank Yu, the two most fundamental differences between Twitter and Weibo aside (government censorship, and only Chinese interface) are the features. Perhaps because to cater to the desires of the Chinese netizen, Weibo is chock full o' features, some of which should make their way to Twitter.
The first feature that makes Weibo stand out as a better version of Twitter is Weibo's ability have inline pictures and media with posts. In Weibo, the user can post pictures and embed videos directly into their feed. Much like in Facebook, the media is thumbnailed and will expand if clicked on instead of opening up a completely new page/tab as in Twitter.

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...) Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...)

One of the biggest complaints against Twitter was its lack of threaded comments. Weibo had threaded comments from the get-go. On top of that, commenters can leave images, webpages and videos, again very much like Facebook.
Initially when uninitiated people look at Weibo for the first time and then look at Twitter, the first thing that comes to mind is how convoluted and confusing Weibo is (that's minus the language factor too). Every Weibo page has way too many links to click on creating a very messy interface.
However, despite the clutter, each of the those links lead to an interesting feature. Unlike Twitter, which has the Connect and Discovery functions, Weibo creates categories and organizes the most popular topics (hashtags).

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...)

Weibo also groups famous and verified accounts into a special page so that users can find other users with better ease. Of course part of the verified system has to do with government censorship and the like but we can talk about Big Brother another time.
Another feature seemingly stolen from Facebook and absent from Twitter is the chat function. Taking a leaf out of most social networks, Weibo has a chat function where users can chat incognito with other users without it being posted or having to go through the private message function of Twitter. In this function, users can pretty much do the same they do if they were posting messages but in private one-on-one chatting.

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...)

Putting in a gaming element (and I know how you Kotaku readers love games...I do too) Weibo has a virtual currency, called Weibi, that can be earned through posting or using real world currency. So far, the only things that use Weibi are games. Weibo, unlike Facebook, haven't exactly fully integrated games into their system but does offer a games portal with a healthy offering of mini web games, including one that looks like a bootleg Starcraft. Weibo isn't changing the way the Chinese play games and it doesn't look like it will anytime soon.

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...)

Weibo's reign in China is nearly absolute. With Facebook and Twitter banned Sina faces next to zero competition in the microblogging business. So far it's reach is only in China and that is mostly due to issues resulting from the Chinese government than anything else. Like any social network, once information is shared on Weibo it's out there for good. What the Chinese government does is that it actively monitors what users post on Weibo. If the post is deemed sensitive or damaging to the State, the post is deleted, but unfortunately nothing can really be deleted from the internet.
Weibo's relevance and China's relevance go hand in hand. As China becomes more important to business and the world more companies and people are going to head to Weibo as a means of connecting to China's netizens. Celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (neither speak or read Chinese) have
their own personal verified Weibo accounts on which they use to advertise and interact with their fans.

Why Sina Weibo Is Better Than Twitter (Even Though They're Pretty Much The Same...)

Sina Weibo has its share of detractors and supporters, Beijing based venture capitalist Steve Bell has said on his own account that Weibo is better than just a Twitter clone, but without real competition in its home market comparing the two is basically comparing apples and oranges—or better yet, Twitter and Weibo.

Juniel's Pofile

first i saw her, yesterday. i'm fell in love with her and her songs,Illa Illa and Bad Man. and
here is it.. her profile^^

Choi Jun-hee (Korean: 최준희; born September 3, 1993) known by her stage name Juniel (Hangul: 주니엘, often stylized as JUNIEL) is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She began her career in Japan before eventually debuting in South Korea. She was first known as 'Junie', but eventually changed her name to 'Juniel', which was derived from combining her name, Junie, and L for 'love'.

1993–2010: Early life and career beginnings

Choi Jun-hee was born on September 3, 1993, in South Korea. As a child, she began dancing and singing, with popular soloist BoA being her inspiration. She started playing the guitar in her third year of junior high school. She wrote her first song, "Boy", when she was sixteen, which was later included on her first Japanese EP. While studying in Japan, she won the Japanese audition program Niji Iro Supernova, beating out many other singers and songwriters from all over the country. Juniel started her Korean training at Good Entertainment, the same agency which formerly housed celebrities such as G.NA, the Wonder Girls' Yubin and After School's Uee. She later auditioned at FNC Entertainment, and became a trainee the same day as CN Blue's Jung Yong-hwa.

2011: Ready Go, Dream & Hope, and label change

Juniel made her official debut on April 29, 2011; releasing her first Japanese EP titled Ready Go. She was the opening act for Oh Won-bin's live concert Good For You, which was held at the at Akasaka Blitz on June 26, 2011. Juniel was later the opening act for F.T. Island's Messenger tour, performing at their Zepp Tokyo concert on July 6, 2011.
She released her second EP, Dream & Hope, on July 12, 2011.The fourth song on the album, "Kamen" (仮面; "Mask"), was inspired by the musical Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. In November, Juniel underwent a label change to Warner Music Japan and made her major debut with the single "Forever". The song was written to give support to those who suffered from the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, and was released on November 2, 2011. "Forever" was later selected as a monthly recommendation by CD shops in Japan, and was used as the ending theme song for Gamers Yoasobi Sanshimai. "Travel", a B-side from the single, was also used for a television commercial. Juniel was selected as the opening act for Lawson Presents Music For All All For One Supported by Skapa! which was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on December 24, 2011.

2012: My First June and 1&1

Juniel released her second Japanese single, "Sakura: Todokanu Omoi" (さくら~とどかぬ想い~), on February 15, 2012. The song was used as an ending theme for various television shows, such as Music B.B., Music Focus and King Kong no Arukoto Naikoto. She appeared on MBC's documentary show K-Pop Star Captivates the World on April 22, 2012, where her hype track, "Fool" (feat. Jung Yong-hwa (CN Blue)), was released.
Her debut Korean single, "Illa Illa", was released on June 7, 2012. She released her first EP My First June and held her debut showcase on the same day. Her self-composed songs, which were previously released in Japan, were also included on the release. "Illa Illa" was later chosen as the theme song for the character Im Mae-ari, played by Yoon Ji-ni, in the popular Korean drama series A Gentleman's Dignity. Juniel made a cameo appearance on the series as a street performer in Hongdae. In August 2012, she was chosen to endorse Bean Pole's sub-brand Bike Repair Shop alongside the indie band Busker Busker.
Juniel's second EP, 1&1, was released on November 20, 2012. 1&1 peaked at number four on the Gaon weekly album charts, and number twenty-one on the monthly charts, selling a total of 3,097 copies. The music video for its lead single, "Bad Man", was released on the same day peaking at number four on both the Gaon and Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 100 charts. Other songs included on the album are Korean remakes of "Boy", "Oh Happy Day", "Cat Day" and a new song co-written and co-composed by Juniel titled, "Happy Ending".

Things I learnt from Kpop

Things I learnt from Shinhwa : Age is just the number. Being old doesn't mean we must stop doing what we like the most

Things I learnt from DBSK : No matter how many problems keep coming, be strong and keep smiling. Always keep the faith

Things I learnt from Super Junior : As friends, we must protect each other. keep completing others weaknesses. No matter how powerful we are, be humble and always remember where we are originally from.

Things I learnt from 2PM : Everybody will make at least one mistake in their life. Mistake is the way we learn about life.

Things I learnt from Beast : Being a second choice is not what we must shame about. Prove to everyone that we can surprised them without them knowing.

Things I learnt from Big Bang : Be the trendsetter, we are unique. Just don't giving a damn about others judgement.

Things I learnt from F(X) : Even though we look like an underrated, ignore them. Show our real power to those who keep stepping us.

Things I learnt from 2NE1 : Cute is so two thousand late. be a badass and kick those man who keep hurting us, woman.

Things I learnt from Infinite : Practice makes perfect. No one was born with the ability to synchronize with everything.

Things I learnt from Shinee : An older sibling must alway protect the younger one

You forgot Block B: No matter what other say to or about you, keep smiling. Be happiest knowing there ARE others out there who love you.

Nu'est: Be proud of yourself.Don't let others look down to you.

EXO: Don't you ever shoot an anonymous but, rolling like a buffalo is prohibited,

And then there's UKISS: Just because people don't realize your true worth doesn't mean you're no good. Never give up. Years may pass before your hard work gets appreciated. Just never fucking give up.

Show what you’ve got at 2012 Korean Entertaiment auditions

With the popularity of audition shows like “Super Star K,” “The Great Birth,” and “Survival Audition K-Pop Star,” the door to stardom has widened.

This month, major Korean talent agencies JYP Entertainment, SM entertainment and DSP Media are starting their search for star material.

JYP Entertainment, the agency for the Wonder Girls and 2PM, is now accepting applications for first round auditions for aspiring stars in six regions: Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Chungju, Gangneung, and Gwangju. The deadline for applications is the day prior to the audition date in each location.

The agency is looking for fresh faces in five categories: singers, actors, models, VJs and producers/songwriters. One can submit an application with appropriate material at http://audition.jype.com.

The final audition will be held in February, and the top three winners will receive opportunities to train with the agency.

This year, JYP Entertainment is collaborating with a clothing brand Hum. One contestant from the final round will receive the Hum Star Award to become a trainee at the agency. In addition, the Hum Star Award winner will sign a one-year model contract with the brand.
The contestant who receives the Seoul Art Technical College President’s Award at the final audition, will receive a one-year scholarship if he or she enroll at the school.

Aside from the annual audition event, one can visit the JYP office in Gangnam, Seoul, every first and third Monday at 2 p.m. for auditions throughout the year.

SM Entertainment, home for BoA, TVXQ, Girls’ Generation and Super Junior, is also accepting applications for auditions in 15 cities in Korea, China, the United States, Japan and Canada from January to March.

“The 2012 SM Global Audition” will start in Korea (Busan on Jan. 8, Daegu on Jan. 14, Gwangju on Jan. 15, and Seoul on Jan 28 and 29.) In February, the agency will hold auditions in China and the United States. Then it will travel to Canada and Japan in March. This is the first time SM Entertainment is recruiting in Japan.

The agency is looking for singers, dancers, actors, MCs/VJs, models, producers and songwriters. The required material varies per category. Applicants can submit their material through email at 2012kroea@smtown.com or via www.youtube.com/audtion.

In addition to the global auditions, the agency holds public auditions every Saturday at 3 p.m. throughout the year at Eversing Entertainment in Apgujeong, Seoul.

The auditions are open to everyone and the selected applicants will sign a contract with the agency.

DSP Media, agency of girl group KARA, is accepting online applications at www.sendmall.co.kr/audition/main.asp. Successful applicants will be notified via text for an on-site audition on Jan. 7.

While YG Entertainment —agency of 2NE1 and Big Bang — hasn’t opened an online application system, one can send material via post to its office in Hapjeong, Seoul.
